LinguiNini – Chinese learning playmate app for iPhone and iPad

Learn Chinese with LinguiNini on a virtual play date to the zoo or chilling out at home.

App contains five play date settings: picnic, grocery store, shopping mall, zoo, and beach.

While on play date with LinguiNini, your child will do the following:

1. Learn 100+ items in Chinese, including sound, pin-yin, and traditional characters of

each term.

2. Be rewarded with gold coins when the child correctly identifies the matching

picture of the Chinese spoken term on the first try.

3. Turn off sound and learn to match pinyin or Chinese characters with pictures of the

objects

4. Sing along 5 sets of lyrics in Chinese and English using the same familiar tune

5. Repeat the Chinese word with recording and playback

Before going on a play date, your child will enjoy getting LinguiNini ready at home.

LinguiNini needs to eat and shower and go to the bathroom… just like the child himself or

herself! In the process, your child will learn the corresponding Chinese for each action.

Home setting is interactive with other play date settings. For example, while trying to feed

a hungry pet, your child might find that there is no food in the fridge. He/she will need to

go to the supermarket to buy some food. But before then, the child will first need to earn

some gold coins before going on a shopping spree.

When your child correctly identifies the matching pictures of the objects spoken in Chinese,

the child earns a gold coin. These gold coins can be used to buy food and clothing for the

pet. Yet, the food will be eaten, and a big fat bird will fly into the house and steal all the

clothing that NinguiNini has. Your child will be motivated to keep on earning, thus

learning, in order to buy more food and clothing for LinguiNini!

We selected everyday items to compile the vocabulary list in this app. You can easily learn

with your child and reinforce the learning every time you encounter the objects in your

household.
